The feasibility of re-use/recycling of mine tailings
Sue Struthers of Skapa Mining Services will give a talk which describes research into the feasibility of recycling mine tailings, using four Australian base-metal mines as case studies. This includes characterisation studies, column leach tests and laboratory trials used to assess extraction of remaining metal values; removal of potential contaminants; and development of various tailings products and topsoil.
