Virtual Tour: Nutrien’s Allan Potash Mine & Mill

November 25, 2020 @ 12:00 am - 1:30 am

This tour will showcase Nutrien’s Allan potash mine & mill. Tune in to see how potash is mined, processed, and used by customers worldwide.

About this Event

The CIM Saskatoon Student Chapter is proud to present the first-ever Nutrien Allan Potash Virtual Mine & Mill Tour. This live event will include high-quality footage of the potash mining & processing methods used in Saskatchewan. Join us on November 24th (early morning on November 25th in Britain) and learn how our provincial mineral gets from the mining face to Nutrien’s customers!

There will be a Q&A session after the tour, which will feature Allan’s Chief Mine Engineer, Cole Smith, and Chief Metallurgical Engineer, Luke Broughton. Cole and Luke are both University of Saskatchewan Alumni and have a combined experience of 20+ years in the potash industry.

The event will be held through Microsoft Teams. Teams Live Events can be joined through a web browser on your PC. If you wish to attend the live event on a mobile device, you will be required to download the Microsoft Teams app.
