The application of robotics across multiple industries has been significant and this talk will focus on the application of an autonomous mobile robot and its deployment in the mining cycle to improve safety and efficiency. The robot has been developed utilising software that has been deployed in space applications and the work presented is part of the Innovate UK – funded project ARISE.
